Coexistence of Nature: Breathing & Growing
DEVERENT

Coexistence of Nature: Breathing & Growing is conceived and curated by DEVERENT, in collaboration with Chengyu Studio, whose artistic practice is rooted in contemporary Eastern aesthetics and nature-based inquiry, with furniture support by Yusol, a new-generation design brand guided by the philosophy of “Retro | Future | Coexistence.” Together, the three parties construct a multidimensional sensory environment that examines the relationship between nature, space, and contemporary living.
Through botanical installations, light structures, olfactory interventions, and the spatial presence of furniture, the exhibition explores how nature persists and regenerates within the highly urbanized condition—subtle yet enduring, fragile yet resilient. Rather than presenting nature as a static object, the works illuminate its capacity to reconfigure itself through time, material, and site. Here, nature becomes both observed and generative, both quiet and insistently alive.
Within DEVERENT’s curatorial framework, the botanical vocabulary developed by Chengyu Studio intersects with Yusol’s design language, forming a coexistent system that bridges art, daily life, and material aesthetics. Extending from the ground floor to the upper level, the installation encourages an interplay between architecture and organic growth, rendering the space not merely a container but an active participant in the act of becoming.
This exhibition invites visitors to step outside the linear tempo of the city and enter a slower, more attentive mode of perception—one in which scent, movement, and subtle visual cues reveal the continual, often unnoticed connection between the self and the natural world. It is a gesture toward shared growth: quiet, patient, and ever-present.
