SOOFA SUHE will present a solo exhibition, "Nowhere Land," by young artist Ma Shuyi, showcasing her latest works created between 2025 and 2026. The exhibition focuses on the artist's experimental practices exploring the interplay between materials and perception.

Ma Shuyi uses wax as her core material, combined with casein, plaster, and felt, repeatedly heating and cooling the materials to create reversible structures that flow and solidify. Her works, existing between painting and sculpture, are mostly small-scale, forming surfaces resembling geological structures through layering and overlapping, allowing time to be deposited materially within them.
